About Rebecca

From a young age Rebecca had a curious interest in holistic and alternative medicine with a fascination for natural remedies, nutritional antidotes and our body's energetics.

She was drawn to the charm of how the body has an innate natural ability to self-heal. This brought her to explore and study Reiki in 2005. Following this, she went on to recognise how our external body acknowledges and manages the "stresses and strains in life" and how this manifests within our muscular make-up, creating tense, nervous energy. This concept opened another new door and she went on to study massage and qualified with a VTCT certificate from Leeds Thomas Danby College.

Rebecca was intrigued with the concept of how the body's "energy being out of balance" can contribute to poor health. This interest captivated her and lead her to learn about Acupuncture. She went on to train at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture in York and completed study up to degree level. The theory she uncovered dated back thousands of years, yet a lot of what she was learning felt like knowledge she somehow already knew. Rebecca was so enthused by acupuncture and its benefits that she decided upon a career change which has led her to be able to help people with this beautiful medicine.

As well as genuine passion to help people, Rebecca has a thorough knowledge of acupuncture and is committed to undergoing continued professional development and providing a high standard of professionalism.
